FOUNDER & LEADERSHIP
Dr Shabistan Gaffar — Founder & Visionary Leader
Dr Shabistan Gaffar conceptualised the AICWETE as a women-led confederation, anchored in the belief that women should serve as agents and architects of social transformation rather than merely as passive beneficiaries. Her leadership philosophy underscores the following principles:
- Adherence to constitutional values
- Commitment to ethical governance
- Respect for cultural diversity
- Emphasis on global relevance
Women’s empowerment should not be viewed as charity; rather, it is the recognition of women as equal citizens, leaders, and contributors to society.
