About AICWETE
The All India Confederation for Women’s Empowerment Through Equity (AICWETE) is a proactive national organisation dedicated to advancing equitable, sustainable empowerment for women and girls across India. By participating in global dialogues on gender equity, AICWETE effectively works at the intersection of community action, policy research, institutional reform, and leadership development. We envision empowerment as a transformative journey that transcends individual efforts, cultivating meaningful change that benefits all members of society.

Who We Are
AICWETE is a national confederation that brings together grassroots organisations, subject experts, researchers, practitioners, and women leaders to advance women’s empowerment through an equity-driven framework.
The Confederation recognises that women experience unequal starting points shaped by gender, caste, class, religion, geography, migration, disability, and access to resources. As such, uniform solutions are insufficient.
AICWETE responds through differentiated, rights-based, and institutionally grounded strategies.
